Job Details:

\n

• Work 12-hour day shifts with variable scheduling
\n• Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
\n• Float to all inpatient units as needed
\n• Work every other weekend and every other holiday
\n• Can be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back
\n• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
\n• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS
\n• Minimum 2 years of experience required, Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
\n• EPIC charting experience required
\n• Work on MAP Unit (Medical and Pediatrics) treating adults only
\n• Treat patients with respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, and infectious diseases
\n• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days, 1:6-7 on nights
\n• Any color scrubs permitted
\n• Must demonstrate hard work ethic, resilience, and ability to manage change
\n• Must work independently while collaborating effectively with team and ancillary staff
\n• Maintain positive attitude and flexibility with constant changes throughout shifts
\n• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred

The facility features a Trauma Level II designation and maintains multiple inpatient units with modern technology including EPIC charting systems. The organization emphasizes quality patient care and maintains flexible staffing models to accommodate varying patient census levels while ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
