Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

\n

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be specified on submission form)
\n• 13-week assignment length
\n• Weekend hours as required by facility
\n• No call requirements
\n• Will float on a rotational basis
\n• 1 year of cardiac telemetry experience required (inpatient only)
\n• Experience and competence in drug titration required
\n• Current RN license (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri)
\n• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only, 4 trauma credits (must complete within first two weeks if not obtained), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
\n• Preferred certifications: ACLS from AHA only
\n• Patient ratios vary: nights 1:6-1:8 (estimates, not guarantees)
\n• Work with cardiac/medical surgical patients
\n• Equipment includes Alaris pumps, telemetry, lift equipment
\n• EMR system: EPIC
\n• Dress code: Black scrubs required, no torn clothes or open-toed shoes
\n• Night shift orientation on day shift - must be available entire week
\n• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1
\n• Utilize nursing process for patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
\n• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments
\n• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
\n• Physical demands include standing and walking most of shift, bending, stooping, lifting patients with assistance
