Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Department Manager for Care Coordination with acute inpatient case management leadership experience and a current CA RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position based in a hospital care coordination department
• Role focuses on acute inpatient case management leadership
• Monday to Friday schedule, 5x 8-hour day shifts
• No weekend shifts required
• Manage and oversee care coordination and discharge planning activities for acute inpatient cases
• Ensure compliance with applicable perioperative and care standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient transitions of care
• SSN and date of birth will be required for consideration

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum of 5 years of care coordination management or operations experience
• Leadership experience in acute inpatient case management required
• Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience working in a union environment required
• Expert knowledge of perioperative standards and compliance such as AORN, ASPAN, AAMI, Title-22, and OSHA
