Job Purpose

The Systems Integrator will be responsible for integrating different subsystems, including data warehousing solutions and executive-level data dashboards, ensuring they function together as a cohesive unit to fulfill specific requirements or solve particular problems. This position will collaborate closely with executive administration, program directors, and other stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain integrated systems, with a specific emphasis on executive-level data visualization and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  1. System Analysis and Planning:
    • Analyze client requirements and technical specifications to determine the scope of integration projects, including executive-level data dashboard needs.
    • Develop comprehensive integration plans outlining the required components, interfaces, protocols, and timelines, with a focus on data dashboard architecture and visualization requirements.
  2. Integration Design and Development:
    • Design integration solutions that incorporate data warehousing technologies and executive-level data dashboards, ensuring seamless data flow and real-time insights for decision-makers.
    • Develop or customize software applications, APIs, middleware, and ETL processes necessary for integrating data into executive-level dashboards from various sources, including data warehouses, operational databases, and external APIs.
    • Configure hardware components, network infrastructure, and communication protocols to support high-performance data visualization and reporting for executive stakeholders.
  3. Dashboard Design and Visualization:
    • Collaborate with program directors and executive stakeholders to design intuitive and visually appealing data dashboards that provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
    • Implement interactive dashboards with drill-down capabilities, custom filters, and dynamic data visualizations to enable executives to explore data and uncover trends, patterns, and outliers.
    • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and relevance in executive-level dashboards by implementing data validation checks, data cleansing processes, and error handling mechanisms.
  4. Testing and Validation:
    • Conduct rigorous testing and validation procedures to ensure the reliability, performance, and usability of integrated systems, with a particular focus on executive-level data dashboards.
    • Solicit feedback from executive stakeholders and end-users to iteratively refine and improve dashboard functionality, usability, and relevance.
    • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to develop and execute test cases and acceptance criteria for executive-level data dashboards.
  5. Deployment and Implementation:
    • Coordinate the deployment of integrated systems, including data warehousing platforms and executive-level data dashboards, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption.
    • Provide technical support and guidance during system rollout and post-implementation phases, with a specific emphasis on executive dashboard usage, training, and support.
    • Monitor dashboard performance, user engagement, and data usage metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
  6. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Create comprehensive documentation for executive-level data dashboards, including dashboard specifications, data sources, visualization techniques, and user guides.
    • Generate regular reports and dashboards on dashboard usage, performance metrics, and user feedback for executive stakeholders and project managers.
    • Maintain accurate records of configuration changes, software versions, and system configurations related to executive-level data dashboard development and integration.

Position Type

This is a full-time position. Typical hours are 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday. However, the Facilities Coordinator must be flexible to oversee, initiate and/or complete some tasks after hours and/or on weekends. Minimum travel may be required.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Systems Integrator or similar role, with a strong background in data warehousing, dashboard development, and executive-level reporting.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, or scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell.
  • In-depth understanding of data visualization principles, dashboard design best practices, and executive-level reporting requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with dashboard development tools and platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense, Looker, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business insights for executive stakeholders.
  • Certifications such as Tableau Desktop Certified Associate, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, or equivalent credentials are a plus.

Physical Requirements

The ability to move independently throughout a wide range of environments, some of which may not be accessible for individuals with mobility challenges, is required. Independent transportation to locations that may not be served by public transportation may be necessary.
