Job Description
Seeking a Substitute Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide health services coverage within school settings. The professional in this role ensures a safe, supportive environment conducive to student learning and wellness.
Responsibilities / Duties:
Deliver first-aid, medication administration, and emergency interventions for students as needed.
Monitor and assist students with chronic health conditions and follow prescribed care plans.
Keep accurate health documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with district procedures.
Support infection control, hygiene education, and preventive health initiatives.
Coordinate with supervising nurses and school administrators regarding significant health concerns.
Cover various campuses and maintain professionalism across assignments.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
Current Pennsylvania LPN license in good standing.
Experience in pediatric, clinic, or school health settings preferred.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to respond to health emergencies quickly and calmly.
Completion of all required PA clearances including fingerprints.
Reliable transportation and flexibility for travel between sites.
