Job Description
We are a local small engine repair shop and we are currently seeking 1-2, part time and full time, individuals to join our growing team! Compensation is $15 and up depending on experience. We have an interactive team, we work closely together to get tasks done, and encourage open communication across the team to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly. We are closed every major holiday and every weekend except one a year in late March. We offer paid vacation and paid sick leave after one year of employment. Job duties will include:
-Test, diagnose, and repair 2 cycle and 4 cycle small engine equipment such as lawn mowers, weed eaters, backpack blowers, etc.
-Fill out work orders with appropriate information detailing what repairs were made and parts that were used.
-Discuss with front counter on what parts may need to be looked up or that may need to be ordered.
-Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. There is some heavy lifting.
-Knowledge of the standard tools, materials and practices of the trade
-Basic knowledge of computer skills
-Must be willing to participate in update schools and keep up with certifications.
Will also consider a mechanic assistant and we are willing to train.
