We are currently seeking skilled Marine Insulators for a potential 5-year project in Norfolk, VA. This opportunity involves hands-on labor working at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for experienced professionals. Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment will begin only if and when the company secures the government contract associated with this role./ppOverview: Apply, remove, and repair insulation and lagging on piping, machinery, and shipboard structures./ppResponsibilities:/pulliInstall thermal, sound, and protective insulation materials./liliShape and secure insulation around pipes, valves, and fittings./liliRemove and dispose of old insulation safely./liliFollow OSHA and shipyard safety guidelines./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliActive DoD Secret clearance required./lili4+ years of insulation/lagging experience, with at least 2+ years on Navy ships./liliKnowledge of insulation materials and installation techniques./liliHigh school diploma/GED./liliAbility to work 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift./li/ulpGlobal- a 1st Flagship Company is an E-Verify and is an equal opportunity employer.
