Trusted./ppThe Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division (JOID) provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues. The Critical Infrastructure Group (CIG) within JOID provides technical, programmatic and analytical support to customers with missions in national security to include the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Group brings technical and operational expertise in fields of countering weapons of mass destruction, critical infrastructure protection, emergency response, nuclear non-proliferation, weapons deployment programs, and transportation safety. In addition to management and advisory services, CIG staff collaborate closely with our clients to provide high-quality modeling, simulation, software, and analytical products to meet the most demanding government standards and timelines./ppWe have an immediate need for a Junior Business Program Analyst to provide onsite support in Washington, DC./ph3Responsibilities/h3pThe candidate will provide analytical support in business, financial, cost, or program management to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) office of Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD). Typical duties performed include analysis, logistics, program management, capabilities-based assessments, operational views, risk assessment; cost, financial, or management analysis; and business processes and programs. Will develop and/or review acquisition documentation, program reports, papers, and procedures as well as prepare business analytical reports for executives or clients. Will be responsible for applying comprehensive methods for analyzing business processes. Conduct capabilities-based assessments, analyses of alternatives, cost, and management analyses. Assist in creating operational views, providing business process input to architecture development, and risk assessment. Help develop plans of action and timetables in order to meet established deadlines, and assist in the development of executive briefings, detailed technical documentation, memos, and contract deliverables./ph3Qualifications/h3pRequired:/pulliBachelors degree in Operations Research, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline./lili2+ years of experience./liliExperience in Program Evaluation or budget analysis./liliAble to work fully onsite based on client needs./liliActive DoD TS/SCI./li/ulpDesired:/pulliMasters degree in Operations Research, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline./liliExperience providing analytical support to the Department of Homeland Security./li/ulpPlease note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.
