About the Role:

Join Tradition Home Health Care as a Home Health Aide (HHA) / Personal Care Aide (PCA) in Brooklyn, NY, where you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients. We are looking for compassionate individuals to provide essential support and care in a friendly and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and grooming.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
• Administer medications and monitor clients' health conditions as directed.
• Help with meal preparation and nutritional support tailored to clients' needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Document and report changes in clients' health status to the supervising nurse.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Transport clients to appointments and assist with mobility as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as HHA or PCA required
• Previous experience in home care or healthcare settings is a plus.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility challenges.
• Reliable transportation to travel between client homes.
• Must pass background checks and adhere to health regulations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation: $19.10 - $22.00 per hour
