Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Fabricator role in Portland, OR. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering high-quality products. Key Responsibilities:Operate, monitor, and maintain fabrication equipment to ensure efficient and precise production operations.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to fabricate components accurately.
Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and assembling of metal parts to meet quality and design standards.
Conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure consistency and integrity.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with industry standards.
Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and accurate inventory tracking.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and troubleshoot operational challenges.
Document fabrication processes, material usage, and other essential data accurately.
Participate in routine maintenance and cleaning of fabrication equipment and work areas.
Report any equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in metal fabrication, welding, or manufacturing is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Proficiency with fabrication tools and equipment, such as welders, grinders, and cutting tools.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Knowledge of workplace safety standards and guidelines is a plus, but training will be provided.
Competitive hourly wage. $28-$32 DOE.
