We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Event Manager . This entry-level position includes paid training and offers a valuable opportunity to build a foundation in event management. You’ll support the planning, coordination, and execution of events while developing skills in leadership, communication, and project management.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with planning, coordinating, and executing events, including logistics, setup, and breakdown
Support the Event Manager with scheduling, budgeting, and resource management
Help oversee event staff and volunteers to ensure smooth onsite operations
Engage with attendees to provide information, answer questions, and enhance their experience
Assist in designing, preparing, and distributing event and promotional materials
Monitor event activities and address issues promptly to maintain event quality
Provide administrative support, including creating reports and tracking event performance
Work closely with the team to brainstorm, build, and implement event strategies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
Genuine interest in event planning, marketing, or promotions
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
Prior event experience is a plus, but not required
Degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field is a plus, but not required
Paid training and hands-on experience in event management
