Job Summary: We are seeking qualified and mission-ready Arabic Linguists to support operations across CONUS, OCONUS, and warzone locations. This TDY position requires high linguistic proficiency, cultural understanding, and operational flexibility. The ideal candidate will provide translation and consecutive interpretation services between Arabic and English, often in high-stakes or time-sensitive environments. Key Responsibilities: Perform accurate translation of written documents from Arabic to English and vice versa. Conduct consecutive interpretation in real-time settings, including one-on-one interactions and large group meetings. Work on a wide range of subjects including technical, political, military, and cultural topics. Understand and interpret a variety of dialects, jargon, and regional nuances in the Arabic language. Maintain high-quality linguistic output under tight deadlines in fast-paced or high-pressure environments. Collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams and with diverse personnel in support of mission requirements. Adhere to strict confidentiality and security protocols. Minimum Qualifications: Fluency in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and at least one regional dialect. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal. Proven ability in consecutive interpretation and written translation with attention to nuance and context. Demonstrated experience or familiarity with military terminology and operational language. Ability to operate effectively in deployed or austere environments, including potential warzones. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in team-oriented settings. US Citizenship may be required depending on clearance and assignment location. Preferred Qualifications: Prior deployment or TDY experience in OCONUS or conflict zones. Active security clearance (preferred but not always required). Experience supporting military or government operations. Understanding of cultural sensitivities relevant to the Arabic-speaking world. Additional Information: This is a travel-based position, requiring flexibility to deploy on short notice. Assignments may range in duration and location, including high-risk environments. Must be able to pass any required medical and security screenings.
